Anthony Pisacano

About Anthony Pisacano

Anthony Pisacano, MD, FACS is a co-founder of Pisacano Eye in the Bronx, New York. He earned his medical degree with honors at Georgetown University School of Medicine, completed a medical internship at the Columbia Division of Bellevue Hospital, and finished his ophthalmology residency at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, where he later served as Chief of the Cataract Clinic. In 1986 he co-founded the New York Eye Surgery Center on Pelham Parkway in the Bronx, serving as Surgeon Director until 2007, when he left to begin practising with his son, Michael Pisacano, MD. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is a co-founder and past chairman of the Friends of the Congressional Glaucoma Caucus Foundation.
