About Anna Falabella

Dr. Anna Falabella is a co-owner of Hollywood Dermatology & Cosmetic Specialists. She earned her medical degree from Universidad del Valle in 1989 as salutatorian, then completed an International Fellowship in Dermatology at Tulane, an internal medicine internship, a dermatology residency and a wound-healing fellowship at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital. She specialises in general dermatology, paediatric dermatology and wound healing, and in 1998 became the first physician to transplant bioengineered skin onto the wounds of an infant with epidermolysis bullosa. She has been principal or co-investigator on more than 40 clinical trials and is a co-editor of the textbook Wound Healing. She entered private practice in 2004.
