Anita Wang

About Anita Wang

Anita Wang is a board-certified emergency physician, a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, with training in aesthetics. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of Missouri in 1979 and her medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine in 1982, completing an emergency medicine residency at the University of Illinois as chief resident in 1985. She has practiced over 30 years as an emergency physician, previously at UCLA Medical Center, Eisenhower Medical Center, and St. Mary's Medical Center, and has been board certified since 1990. She volunteered with Medecins Sans Frontieres in China, including as a team lead during the 2003 SARS outbreak. She is the founder and lead practitioner of her Laguna Beach practice, working in functional and integrative medicine with a focus on preventive health, pelvic and muscular strengthening, and minimally invasive skin tightening.
