About Andrew Wong
Andrew Wong, MD is the chief executive and medical director of Capital Integrative Health in Potomac, Maryland, which he co-founded in 2015. He earned his medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine in 2004 and completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Georgetown University Hospital in 2007, holding board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine and, from 2009, from the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine. He completed a fellowship in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona in 2014 and was named a Fellow of the American College of Physicians the same year, and went through the Institute for Functional Medicine certification program between 2011 and 2016. He previously directed integrative medicine at Casey Health Institute and practiced integrative primary care at Johns Hopkins in North Bethesda. He is an adjunct assistant professor at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and his focus areas are optimization and longevity, complex chronic care, and Lyme disease.
