About Andrew G. Meador

Dr. Andrew G. Meador is an ophthalmologist who specializes in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Mississippi, graduating as a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha respectively. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Tennessee's Hamilton Eye Institute in Memphis, followed by a two-year ASOPRS fellowship with Dr. Ralph Wesley in Nashville and Dr. Chris Fleming in Memphis. He has participated in numerous clinical research activities and international outreach in Panama, and has lectured at the College of Ophthalmology of Eastern Central and Southern Africa. A native of Tupelo, Mississippi, he participated in oculofacial resident training in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
