About Amy Derick

Dr. Amy Derick is the medical director of Derick Dermatology. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame and earned her MD with honours in the top 10 percent of her class at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, interned in internal medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and served as chief resident in dermatology at University of Chicago Hospitals. She holds academic appointments at Northwestern, the University of Chicago and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She served as chair of the Florida Board of Medicine in 2025 and is a past chair of the Illinois State Medical Disciplinary Board.
