About Amanda George
Amanda George is a nurse practitioner at The Functional Medicine Center of New Jersey. She began her career as a critical care nurse and later worked as a primary care provider before moving into functional medicine following her own gut-health problems after an overseas gastrointestinal infection. She completed a fellowship in anti-aging, metabolic and functional medicine and holds ABAAHP board certification through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, alongside Institute for Functional Medicine coursework and Integrative Nurse Coach Academy training. She is board certified as a nurse coach by the American Holistic Nurses Credentialing Corporation and as an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner by the AANPCB, holds a CCRN, and earned her MSN from Fairleigh Dickinson University and BSN from Seton Hall University.
