About Alexandria Watkins

Alexandria Watkins is a family nurse practitioner who leads the medical team at LiveWell Med Solutions in Carrollton, Texas. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences, a Master of Science in Nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice, and practices root-cause analysis of health imbalances with an emphasis on patient education and preventive health. Her doctoral research argued for early standardized screening for Alzheimer's disease and related neurocognitive disorders in primary care, and was presented at the Baptist Health South Florida Research Conference in Miami and to Bethesda Health's Evidence-Based Nursing Practice and Research Council. She has published on implementing cognitive screening as a vital sign in primary care and on empirical treatment in SARS-CoV-2.
