About Alex Xu
Dr. Alex J. Xu is a reconstructive urologist with advanced training in genitourinary reconstruction. He completed his BA in biological sciences at Columbia University and earned his MD at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, followed by a urology residency at NYU Langone Health and a specialized fellowship in genitourinary reconstruction at Case Western Reserve University. His experience is built on a high volume of complex cases using both robotic and traditional surgical techniques, and he has published peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters. He treats urological conditions including urethral and ureteral stricture disease, complex pelvic trauma, erectile dysfunction, and urinary incontinence.
