About Aleksandra Giedwoyn
Dr. Aleksandra Giedwoyn founded Heart of Tabor Functional Medicine in Portland, Oregon, to offer patients a comprehensive approach to healing. Born and raised in east Portland, she graduated with a BS in biochemistry from Lewis & Clark College and, as a first-generation Polish-American, received her MD from Karol Marcinkowski Medical School. She completed her family medicine internship and residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. She is board certified in family medicine and a certified practitioner with the Institute for Functional Medicine. She opened her solo micro family medicine practice in 2017 to offer slow medicine and discovered functional medicine along the way.
