About Adam R. Sweeney
Adam R. Sweeney, MD specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids and face. He earned his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, completed an internal medicine internship and ophthalmology residency at the University of Washington, and then an ASOPRS fellowship in oculofacial, orbital, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. He is one of roughly 800 members of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and trained in cancer reconstructive surgery at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine and has written book chapters on eyelid, orbital and tear drainage surgery. His clinical interests include minimally invasive eyelid lifts, cosmetic eyelid surgery, non-surgical facial rejuvenation and thyroid eye disease.
