Dr. Mike Wygant is a native of the Camarillo area, growing up in Somis and graduating from Camarillo High. He attended the University of California at Santa Barbara graduating with a degree in Biochemistry and spent time in the biotech industry after college doing research. After considering going back to school for medicine, he was particularly drawn to dentistry after spending several years volunteering time in clinics gaining a foundation of knowledge that has helped him to this day. Dr. Wygant received a master’s degree from University of California at Los Angeles in physiology where he worked as a teaching assistant while conducting research in the dental field. From there, he attended dental school at the top ranked dental school in the US according to QS World university rankings, the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He excelled at clinical dentistry while completing several externships in various community clinics. He received a scholarship from the US Army and subse
