About Wiregrass Dental

Dr. Jessica Unterkofler has been practicing at Wiregrass Dental for over 8 years. She and her husband both were raised in Wicksburg, AL. She graduated highschool from Providence Christian School and afterward attended the University of South Alabama. While there, she co-authored and published multiple articles within the USA School of Medicine and completed her thesis in Lung Biology and Respiratory Medicines. She also founded the Alabama Student Rural Health Association to create awareness and outreach for underserved rural areas. This association grew in later years to reach several major college campuses across the state including the University of Alabama, Auburn University, and Troy University. She received her dental education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. At UAB, she received the Third District Dental Society scholarship to represent Houston, Dale, Geneva, Coffee, and Barbour counties.
