Our name, Winona, comes from the Sioux Dakota word Winúŋna, meaning “first-born daughter.” This name is deeply significant, as it encompasses the essence of womanhood and the collective journey we share. Every woman is a daughter, experiencing life’s transitions and evolving through time. Together, we honor the strength, resilience, and beauty of the Winona Woman.
