Dr. Sarmiento is originally from Barranquilla-Colombia where he graduated with honors from Metropolitan University in the top 5 of his class in 2000. After moving to United States he completed the IS Faculty track from Tufts University School in Dental Medicine earning his DMD; He also did two years residency program in the University of Connecticut in Advance Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) with additional training in implants restorations and esthetic dentistry. Dr. Sarmiento is currently an Assistant Professor for the Comprehensive Care department at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he teaches in the undergrad Clinic. Dr Sarmiento is an active member of the Massachusetts Hispanic Dental Association, American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Society. For Dr Sarmiento his main goal is to offer a comfortable and relax atmosphere combine with the opportunity to provide the best care for his patients overall dental needs.
