About Waterplace Dental

Providing quality family dentistry since 2001, we take the time to listen to your needs, concerns, and desires for your dental health to develop an individualized treatment plan. Dr. Bryan Nakagawa was born and raised in Kaneohe, Hawaii. He attended Whitworth University and Oregon State University, majoring in Biology. After three years of undergraduate work, he was accepted to Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry and graduated with a DMD in 2001, with clinical honors. Dr. Nakagawa has been practicing dentistry in Salem since November of 2001. He was an assistant clinical instructor in the Prosthodontic Department at OHSU from 2002 – 2005. Dr. Nakagawa is dedicated to expanding his knowledge of cutting edge clinical procedures through continuing education and participation in study clubs. In 2010 he became a graduate of the Kois Center, a globally recognized dental education center, by completing over 250 hours of continuing education, and in 2011 he became a Mentor. A
