About Wake Forest Family Dentistry

Dr. Eric Wagoner was born and raised in Auburn, Indiana. His uncle was a dentist and sparked Dr. Wagoner’s interest in the field from an early age. He grew up loving his visits to the dental office. He even won an award for his 3rd-grade science fair project on tooth decay! Following high school graduation, he attended Purdue University, where he received his Bachelors of Science in General Health Sciences and his Masters of Science in Molecular Biology. He was then accepted into the Indiana University School of Dentistry. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2011 with honors, including receiving the Student Excellence Award for Clinical Proficiency and Excellence in Academics. Dr. Wagoner stays current with all the advances in modern dentistry by taking many more than the required annual hours of continuing education courses. He also has many hours of post-graduate training in areas such as oral surgery, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, TMJ Training, and implant dentistry.
