About Village Prosthodontics and Dental Implant Center

Dr. Black is a Board-certified prosthodontist with a passion for collaborating with our periodontists with a team approach to complex cases. He is an experienced master clinician with expertise in patient-centered treatment planning in prosthodontics, dental laboratory, and teaching. Dr. Black was born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in South Florida. He attended undergraduate college and dental school for his Bachelor of Science (BS) and Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degrees, respectively, in the dual admissions program at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. After obtaining his DMD in 2010, He commissioned as a captain in the Air Force and completed a 1-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD-1) at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. Afterward, Dr. Black eventually completed a 3-year specialty residency in prosthodontics at Lackland Air Force Base (Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland) in San Antonio, Texas in 2015. At the same t
