True Dermatology is a physician-owned dermatology practice founded and led by Calvin Sung, MD, FAAD, a board-certified dermatologist and Clinical Faculty member at the UC Riverside School of Medicine. It operates offices across Southern California, including Arcadia, Monterey Park, Newport Beach, West Covina, Glendora, Los Angeles and Anaheim. The practice combines medical and surgical dermatology — Mohs and skin cancer surgery, phototherapy and acne care — with cosmetic dermatology including Botox and dermal fillers, chemical peels and microneedling. It also runs a hair-loss programme built on Dr. Sung's own True Hair Therapy regimen. The practice states it is independently physician-owned rather than private-equity owned.
