The Spa & Wellness Center is a spa and wellness clinic at 103 Davis Road in League City, Texas. It was established in 1997 as South Shore Massage, the first massage center in the Bay Area, expanded into a full-service spa in 2002, and added acupuncture, chiropractic, sports therapy and therapeutic massage in the autumn of 2007. Its therapists are Aveda-trained and it serves as the preferred spa for a number of area resorts, hotels and bed-and-breakfasts. Its Platinum MedSpa line offers laser hair reduction, IPL photofacials, fractional laser resurfacing, ProCell MD microchanneling, laser tattoo removal and YAG vein treatment. Nneka Edokpayi, MD is listed as medical director and Alfredo J. Vazquez, DC, a certified acupuncturist, leads the chiropractic side.
