About The Implant and Oral Surgery Center

I am Dr. Don McLaurin and I hope this serves as an introduction to me and my practice. I was born in a small town just outside of New Orleans, Louisiana called Ponchatoula, and grew up in southeast Arkansas. I attended the University of Notre Dame and obtained a degree in microbiology. From there, I attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. I returned home for my Oral and Maxillofacial Residency and attended Louisiana State University/Charity Hospital in New Orleans for my training. In addition to my Oral Surgery training, I also attended LSU Medical School and received my Medical Degree. Professionally my interests are in oral reconstruction with dental implants, wisdom teeth, and outpatient office surgery.
