Rachel Deffendall, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the founder of The Beaumont Med Spa , where she combines evidence-based medicine with personalized wellness and aesthetic care. A Lebanon, Tennessee native, Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cumberland University in 2003 before completing her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Middle Tennessee State University in 2014. With more than two decades of healthcare experience, Rachel has built a diverse clinical background spanning emergency medicine, intensive care, pediatric emergency care, cardiac catheterization, surgery, aesthetics, and functional medicine. She spent nearly ten years serving as a flight nurse and paramedic with Vanderbilt LifeFlight , providing critical care transport throughout the region by helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft.
