About Team Perio

Hello, I am Dr. Eric Blasingame, the owner and CEO of Team Perio. When I decided to become a periodontist I did it because I wanted to help people. I realized that mouth pain, oral disease, and missing teeth are more than just physical issues. Many people have a lot of anxiety and negativity about dental treatment, especially with surgical treatment. I wanted to create an environment for our patients where they receive safe, predictable dental surgical treatment, but done in a way that creates a positive experience. There are so many examples where people have negative experiences in health care. Our focus has been helping people experience dental surgery in a positive way. As our dental surgical speciality practice grew, I reached a point where I couldn’t fit any more patients into my schedule.
