Dr. Zhou (Dr. Joe) is a dual specialist in the field of Periodontics/Implant Dentistry and Orthodontics throughout the past 30 years of professional dental experiences in China, UK and USA. He received his DDS from West China University of Medical Sciences in 1991. After graduation, he completed his orthodontic residency and PhD degree from the same University (1991-1996). Dr. Joe completed a three-year Graduate Periodontics and Implant Dentistry Residency program at Medical College of Georgia. He is a board-certified Diplomate of American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Joe is currently a tenured professor in the School of Dentistry at University of Detroit Mercy. He strives to provide high quality multidisciplinary treatment focused on periodontics and implant dentistry, and their interaction in orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Joe lectures dentistry internationally. He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.
