Dentistry wasn’t the initial path I went down when choosing a career in college. My dad was a dentist, so I grew up around it, but I initially thought I wanted to become a physician. That all changed one spring break during college. While helping my dad put together a desk chair at his dental office, he said, Give me 30 minutes to tell you why I think dentistry is an amazing profession and why I think you'd love it. His words from that day stuck with me—dentistry allows me to help people while staying present for my family, something that’s always been a priority. That conversation changed my life, and I’ve never looked back. What I love most about dentistry is making connections—both with my patients on a personal level and between their dental health and overall wellness. I’m very passionate about treating my patients comprehensively, which to me means looking at the bigger picture—not just treating a patient's teeth but considering how oral health connects to their whole-b
