“I became a dentist because I wanted to change lives. I’ve seen firsthand the power of dentistry to restore and transform people.” Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Dr. Tien Dang received his Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences with honors from McMaster University. During his free time, he was passionate about helping the underserved and enjoyed volunteering at local hospitals and food banks. Wanting to make more impact, he volunteered to travel with physicians and dentists to Costa Rica and Panama to provide care and education to rural communities without access to care. This trip abroad allowed him to see firsthand how dental care changes lives and motivated him to pursue dentistry. Dr. Dang completed his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the New York University College of Dentistry, one of the top-ranked dental schools in the world.
