Strategic Wellness Center and Med-Spa is a functional-medicine and aesthetics practice in downtown Hickory, North Carolina, founded in 2018 by Diana Williams, DNP, MSN, FNP-C, IFMCP, a board-certified family nurse practitioner certified through the Institute for Functional Medicine. Williams holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Duke University, a Master of Science in Nursing from Western Carolina University, and a BSN from Lenoir-Rhyne University. The practice pairs bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, functional medicine, IV and vitamin therapy, peptide therapy and GLP-1-based weight management with a med-spa arm offering injectables, lasers, body contouring, hair restoration and facials, describing its aesthetics work as "functional aesthetics."
