About Stephen Duncan MD

Dr. Duncan is a native of Mobile, Alabama and left to attend Mississippi State University on a full football scholarship. In his senior year he suffered a career ending knee injury and returned to Mobile to finish his undergraduate work at the University of Mobile, obtaining a dual degree with a BS in Biology and Chemistry. Dr. Duncan worked as a chemist at Olin Chemical Co. immediately upon graduating college but soon decided to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor. Upon receiving his medical degree from St. George University, he entered residency at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. After completing two years of an Internal Medicine residency, Dr. Duncan decided that Obstetrics and Gynecology was more suited for him and he then completed his residency in OB/GYN at Mercer University. Dr. Duncan worked as a traveling doctor upon graduating until he was recruited by Capital Regional Medical Center to come to Tallahassee in November 2001. Dr.
