Leader, listener, and laugh-bringer, Dr. Vargas is passionate about quality care and precision dentistry. Whether he’s restoring a tooth or restoring someone’s confidence, he brings calm energy and expertise to every visit. Dr. Ulysses Vargas was raised in Texas until after highschool and started his undergraduate education at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale Tennessee where he received his Bachelors of science in Biology. His passion for teaching lead him into a educational career at Loma Linda University where he obtained his Masters degree in Gross Anatomy. After a few years of research and teaching he moved back to Texas to begin his Dental school career. Dr. Vargas enrolled in University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, graduating with Distinction in Research honors.
