I began my healthcare journey after earning my nursing degree from Purdue University in 2003. For more than a decade, I worked in the fast-paced environment of the ER at Methodist Hospital, caring for patients during some of their most critical moments. While I valued that work, I felt a deep calling to do more than treat illness I wanted to help people prevent it. That calling led me back to school to earn my Master s degree and eventually into the world of functional medicine. Frustrated by how often traditional medicine failed to truly restore health, I began training with The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) in 2015, later adding advanced education through the American Academy for Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M). I spent the next six years practicing in a clinic that blended functional and conventional medicine, helping patients find the root causes of their symptoms and guiding them toward lasting wellness.
