Dr. Mireille Hamparian is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been practicing in Southern California for over 20 years. Dr. Mireille Hamparian, a Glendale based ophthalmologist and eye doctor, is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, California Medical Association, California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons and the Los Angeles County Medical Association. She is highly experienced in cataract and glaucoma surgeries as well as a number of other eye care treatments. She earned her Doctorate of Medicine degree at Albany Medical College in New York. After completing her residency in ophthalmology, she completed her fellowship in glaucoma at University of Maryland where her research interests included using amniotic membrane for glaucoma surgery. A strong proponent of community service, she has served on the Board of Directors of a number of non-profit community groups.
