Dr. Claudia Orta holds a Doctor in Dental Surgery degree from Universidad Iberoamericana in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She completed a two-year postdoctoral residency program as a Dental Resident at AEGD NYU Langone dental medicine. Prior to joining the Smiles of Fort Myers team in 2024, Dr. Orta treated patients at private practices in the area. Dr. Orta’s areas of expertise include oral surgery, endodontic treatments, periodontics, operative, and restorative dentistry. Committed to staying abreast of the latest developments in dentistry and advancing her clinical expertise, Dr. Orta regularly participates in continuing education. Areas in which she has pursued advanced training include endodontics, oral rehabilitation, pain management, and infection control.
