About Smile Dental Center

Dr. Bruce Sofferman has been helping his patients smile since 1982. He graduated Magna cum laude from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Sofferman received his dental medicine education at the State University of New York at Buffalo, ranked in the top 10 in the nation. Dr. Sofferman is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain . As a clinical Professor in Oral Facial Pain, he also teaches at Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Sofferman is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Academy of Sleep Medicine , the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain , the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine , the American Dental Association , the Connecticut State Dental Association and the Naugatuck Valley Dental Association. Dr. Sofferman also contributes his time to multiple charities and fundraisers including Toys for Tots, the Women of Domestic Violence and Area Congregation Together/Spooner House She
