Dr. Daniel Dufera is more than just your local dentist. He is a dentist who prides himself upon providing personalized services to a diverse Silver Spring population. Dr. Dufera has been treating patients with compassionate, exceptional dental care at Silver Spring Smiles since September of 2015. Dr. Daniel Dufera grew up in Silver Spring with his family. After graduating from Bethesda Chevy Chase High School, he attended the University of Maryland for his undergraduate studies in chemical engineering and later obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland Dental School. He then completed a general practice residency program at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY. Dr. Dufera returned to Silver Spring to serve the community by providing quality dental care with a wide range of procedures, including fixed and removable prosthodontics, root canal therapy, crown and bridge, simple and surgical extractions, and more.
