Dr. Joon Kim is a leader in his industry who has always worked hard to obtain the best education from top tier institutes. Prior to attending dental school, he helped with several publications at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. These worked to improve the lives of children and young adults with pediatric developmental disabilities. Dr. Kim has also spent many years involved in research projects at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Medicine, one of the most prestigious universities in the world. Dr. Kim obtained his Doctorate of Dental surgery from the University of Maryland’s School of Dentistry. Here, he was awarded with the Maryland Mayor Scholarship for outstanding performance and placed in the Prosthodontics Honor Society. Dr. Kim is extremely passionate about cutting-edge dentistry. He wants to stay up-to-date on the healthiest, safest ways for patients to obtain and maintain oral health. He invests hundreds of hours per year into ongoing training.
