About Selene Skin and Medspa

Katie Boxler is the founder of Selene Skin + Medspa. She is a registered nurse and currently studying to be a family nurse practitioner and Doctor of Nursing practice. Katie is completing her FNP and DNP degrees at the University of Southern Indiana. She received her first bachelor’s degree in Arts in Buffalo, New York and her second bachelor’s degree in Nursing in Ottawa, Canada. Katie has over 7 years of experience in aesthetics. She began her healthcare career as an aesthetic nurse in Ottawa, Canada. After working in the Capital of Canada, Katie moved to Los Angeles, California where she gained experience as an aesthetic nurse in the “epicenter” of aesthetic medicine, specifically in Beverly Hills and Hermosa Beach. In 2021, Katie moved to Nashville where she planted some roots and began her family. Katie is passionate about aesthetic provider education and prioritizes patient safety.
