About Second Line Family Dentistry

Dr. Mayda Ferguson was born in La Habana, Cuba, but has lived in the Metairie area since she was a young girl. Today, she leads her team by engendering a positive attitude, supporting the staff, and facilitating management and clinical seminars. Her main priority is to ensure our patients receive excellent dental care, have their needs and concerns met, and have a great overall experience in our office! Toward the end of college, Dr. Ferguson toured the Louisiana State University dental school and was thrilled about the technology and the advancements in modern dental care. She s always enjoyed creating things with her hands to improve the life of other people, and dentistry would allow her the small, personal environment to make a difference with a talented, caring, trustworthy team. Even after years of education and advanced training, she constantly works to remain up-to-date with the advancements in dentistry so that she can deliver the high-quality treatment her patients deserve.
