About Schonfield Dental

Robert Schonfield grew up in a small town on Long Island, the eldest of four children born to Harvey and Marilyn Schonfield. From age twelve he aspired to become a dentist in "Small Town, USA". He graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, New Jersey, in 1977 and went on to attend New York University's College of Dentistry, where he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery {DDS} in 1980. Dr. Schonfield is a member of several professional organizations including the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Fifth District Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and The International Congress of Oral Implantologists. {The International Congress of Oral Implantologists is a non-profit worldwide dental educational organization dedicated to communicating scientific knowledge and improving the clinical practice of implantology worldwide.
