About Scharrington Dental

Dr. Joon Han opened Scharrington Dental in 2009 to provide superior dental care for patients of all ages in Schaumburg, IL and surrounding areas. Dr. Han received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry and Music from Illinois Wesleyan University, and his Masters Degree in Chemistry from University of Illinois – Chicago. He then continued on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from University of Illinois – College of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Han was awarded the Howard Kubuki Award for Superior Clinical Performance. He completed three years of post-graduate prosthodontic specialty education at the University of Illinois – College of Dentistry. During his residency, Dr. Han presented his case studies at Nobel Biocare World Conference 2005, International Congress of Oral Implantology 2007 and American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics 2007.
