After my own bout with acne from my early teens to well into my forties, I know first-hand the devastating effects it can have on someone. Whether you have one big cyst that won t go away or you have many, the effect is still the same pure frustration! I tried everything. If a friend had told me to purchase 3+ products from a particular line of skincare, I did it. And then it wouldn t work for me even though it had worked for her. I wanted to know why that happened, so I went to work for some of the biggest and best cosmetic lines. (You know the ones.) I finally found some answers and some relief, but it was limited. I wanted to know more, so in 2006, I became an esthetician. Even at that, in esthetics school, there is very little time spent on acne and the same was true when I entered the industry full time.
