RSMD Medical Aesthetics is a physician-led non-surgical medical aesthetics practice in Capitola, California, serving the Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay area. It was founded and is medically directed by Rebecca Small, MD, a graduate of Cambridge University and Harvard Medical School and a Clinical Professor at the UCSF School of Medicine, where she trains plastic surgery and family medicine physicians in non-surgical aesthetics. The menu is entirely non-surgical and covers the practice's proprietary RSMD Liquid Lift, botulinum toxin, dermal filler, chemical peels, HydraFacial, PRP facial rejuvenation, RF microneedling, IPL photofacial, MicroLaser Facial and 532nm laser, laser hair removal, PRP hair restoration, HydraFacial Keravive scalp treatment, red light therapy and medical-grade skincare. Dr. Small created the Practical Guide series of medical aesthetics textbooks, translated into eight languages, and the injectable Safety Zones framework. Two sister brands, RSMD Mobile and RSMD Training, operate separately from the clinic.
