About Riverside Family Dental

Dr. Blanchard is a Wisconsin native who spent his early childhood in Colorado, formative years back in Wisconsin, and went to Dental School at the University of Michigan. He bleeds badger red however, as Dr. Blanchard was the Bucky Badger mascot for the University of Wisconsin during his undergraduate education in Medical Microbiology and Immunology. While he originally set out to pursue a career in Medicine, following in the footsteps of his father and older brother, Dr. Blanchard had unique personal experiences that led him to dentistry. As a child he dealt with many dental problems that caused insecurity and anxiety. He looked up to his childhood dentist, orthodontist, hockey coach (who was a dentist), and former neighbor (also a dentist), who all encouraged him to consider dentistry as a career. It turned out to be a great fit Dr. Blanchard always wanted to start his own practice so he could care for patients the way he saw fit rather than trying to please a large corporation. At R
