RISEN wellness is a nonprofit functional medicine clinic in Clarksville, Tennessee, operating since 2022 as a ministry of Church of the Resurrection. It combines functional medicine consultations with clinical mental health counselling, treating patients from newborn to geriatric age through in-person and telehealth appointments. Its medical providers are trained through the Institute for Functional Medicine, and first visits include vital signs, heart rate variability and body composition testing alongside laboratory analysis. The practice does not accept insurance; it publishes flat per-visit fees, operates a sliding scale as funds permit, and maintains a compassion fund for patients in financial hardship. It was founded by Cliff Syner, PA-C, who is also a priest at the affiliated church.
