Stephen L. Sala, DMD, FAGD attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his D.M.D. degree in 2011. He then chose to pursue an additional year of formal training and completed a general practice residency program at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. Dr. Sala spends much of his free time pursuing continuing education so that he can provide the highest level of care to his patients. In recognition of his dedication to continuing education, Dr. Sala received his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. This is a designation earned by only 6 percent of general dentists, and he is well on his way in working towards his Mastership (MAGD) which requires at least 1,100 hours of approved continuing education.
