When I was searching for my calling as a student, I knew only two things. (1) I wanted to promote health and wellbeing in my community, and (2) I wanted to harness my talents to be the most compassionate and skillful professional I could be. I have developed my passion for dentistry through my personal experience with my family’s dentist. My dentist gave me my first job as a dental assistant and mentored me into the dental field. In my heart, I knew I wanted to follow in his footsteps. As a dentist, he had the ability to heal his distressed patients, promote oral and overall health, and create doctor-patient relationships that would last a lifetime. Fast-forward several years, and I am the dentist who can provide these same positive outcomes to my own patients. I have the ability to give my patients more confidence with their smiles–a great smile can open up so many wonderful opportunities.
