About Redmond Smiles

Dr. Amar earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Mathematics from the University of Washington before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the UW School of Dentistry. She values the opportunity to care for patients from diverse backgrounds and enjoys connecting with them personally—often utilizing her fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese to better serve her community. Outside the office, Dr. Amar enjoys spending time with her son and traveling when she can. She looks forward to welcoming you and helping you achieve a healthy, confident smile. Dr. Lauren Ma is a PNW native and has been proudly serving patients on the Eastside, where she grew up, for nearly the last decade. Dr. Ma received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences at the University of the Pacific and her Doctor of Dental Surgery at UOP’s Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Upon completing an accelerated track to her career, Dr. Ma pursued advanced dental education at the Pankey
