RC Functional MD is a concierge functional medicine practice in Prairie Village, Kansas, founded by Dr. Lindsey Clancey, where RC stands for root cause. Care begins with comprehensive bloodwork and a 90-minute in-person foundational assessment, after which patients enroll in six-month, twelve-month or maintenance memberships that include health coaching. The practice addresses chronic complex illness, gastrointestinal disorders, autoimmune and skin conditions, cardiovascular and metabolic disease, endocrine and hormonal disorders including perimenopause and menopause, and mental health. It uses advanced testing such as stool analysis, SIBO breath testing and hormone panels, and follows biomarkers including ApoB, Lp(a), hsCRP, homocysteine and fasting insulin. The practice does not bill insurance or participate with Medicare, and patients retain a separate primary care physician.
