About Prosthetic Dentistry of Olympia

After earning his dental degree at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1989, he completed two specialty residencies. In the first residency (also at the University of Louisville), he earned his certificate in prosthodontics, which includes full and partial dentures, crowns, and bridges, each with or without dental implant support. The second residency in Buffalo, New York, was in maxillofacial prosthetics and dental oncology. This prepared him to treat people undergoing cancer care both before the chemotherapy and/or radiation and after the chemotherapy and/or radiation. Many people underestimate the importance of dental care both prior to cancer therapy and after completion of cancer therapy. This is especially true for cancers of the head and neck area. Dr. Jude has spent time as a full-time faculty member at universities in Detroit and Cleveland and at the University of Washington.
