Michael L. Hoops, M.D. is a board certified plastic surgeon serving the greater Cleveland, Tennessee area. Dr. Hoops has been in practice for over 24 years, and is dedicated to bringing you the best in safety and surgical excellence. Dr. Hoops obtained his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Champaign, Illinois. Following graduation, he participated in an internship with the General Surgery Integrated Residency Program at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Services. Additionally at UT, he completed a general surgery residency, burn fellowship and plastic surgery residency. Throughout his formal training and education, Dr. Hoops won many awards and positions such as Chief Resident at the UT Department of Plastic Surgery, membership in Alpha Omega Alpha (Medical Honor Society), scholarships and more.
