About Philip M. Tornatore DDS

I was born February 1960 in Maspeth, Queens, first of two sons of Lucy and Felix Tornatore, and raised in Whitestone, Queens, just outside the shadow of Shea Stadium. I am a devote Met and Jet fan. During my formative years, I developed a love for science and math, which ultimately led me to a career in the healthcare field. My education began at Saint Francis Preparatory High School, where I graduated as a member of the National Honor Society in 1978. I received my bachelor s degree from New York University. My studies included a rigorous Pre Dental curriculum and a joint major in Mathematics and Computer Science, with minor studies in Philosophy. I served as president, treasurer and vice-president of the Theta Beta Chapter of Alpha Phi Delta national Fraternity. My dental degree was obtained from New York University , College of Dentistry , in June 1986. Upon graduation, I was recognized in the top ten percent in my class, and received a citation for comprehensive care student assist
